No one ever said that running a business would be easy. There will be challenges and times when you question what you are doing. You will have to work hard, and be incredibly passionate about what you do. There may be some setbacks or adjustments and it may even be that your original business idea is not the business that you end up running. But the payback will be huge. Creating and running your own business is immensely rewarding, and something you can be very proud of having achieved. Completing the journey from an idea in your head to your first paying customers will be incredibly exciting.
The most important thing to remember is that you don't have to do it alone. There are plenty of people who will be happy to help, whether they are business advisers, trade associations, mentors, people you respect - sometimes even competitors! Never be afraid or embarrassed to ask for help. The worst that can happen is that they say no. There are also lots of online resources and books that can help, as you can see. The hardest part of starting a business is actually getting started. If, after reading this post, you think you've got what it takes, just get out there and do it. Make it happen. This information is from The Prince's Trust Guide to starting your own business "MAKE IT HAPPEN". We are looking for Volunteers to help us promote our new E-shop! Please send us e-mail to [email protected] to apply!
