The EU organic leaf
The green leaf made of stars is the EU organic logo. It can only be used on products that meet the EU organic rules, and it sits alongside a code showing which body certified the product. For honey, organic rules cover where the hives are placed, how the bees are cared for and what they forage on.

Where the honey comes from
In the UK, honey labels must show the country where the honey was harvested. If a jar says it is a blend of honeys from several countries, you may not know where your honey was actually produced. A single named origin is a good sign of a clear supply chain.
